Yarrila Arts and Museum relies on the generosity of our supporters to expand our collection and provide enriching art experiences to the community. If you would like to contribute, there are several options for donating.

Monetary Donations

While admission to YAM is complimentary, your contributions make a significant impact in sustaining our vibrant program and collection.

All donations to YAM over $2 are tax-deductible. You can make a donation in person at YAM or contact us at yam@chcc.nsw.gov.au. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Cultural Donations

By donating visual arts and material culture to our collection, you help preserve it for future generations to enjoy, and ensures that it receives ongoing professional care from our gallery and museum staff.

The donation must be relevant to the institution. Our Collection Committee will review each piece to ensure it meets the assessment criteria set out in our Museum and Gallery Collection Policy.

Cultural Gifts Program

Yarrila Arts and Museum is proud to be a participating institution of the Australian Government’s Cultural Gifts Program.

This program enables donors to make art and cultural heritage donations to public art galleries and museums and receive a tax benefit for the market value of the gift.

The artwork must be relevant to the institution, align with our collection policy, and be appraised by two approved CGP valuers to determine a proven market price.

If you’re interested in donating an artwork or object, please fill out our donation form or contact us at yam@chcc.nsw.gov.au. We’d be happy to discuss potential priority areas for the collection.

Bequests

Leave a meaningful impact by including the gallery in your will. You can choose to designate a specific amount or a portion of your estate. Your bequest can be unrestricted or directed towards a specific collection, award, educational program, or new initiative.
