Express your artistic side in July holidays
To accompany ARTEXPRESS 2024, now on exhibition at Yarrila Arts and Museum (YAM) is delivering a hands-on program for families and teens to experiment with different art-making materials.
Every day, from 16-19 July, there is a different art-making material to try out and get creative with, from painting and drawing to collage and printmaking.
Tuesday 16 July
Printmaking: In this session, you will try out lino print, stamping and monoprint techniques
Wednesday 17 July
Collage: In this session, you will assemble and create an image from layers of paper and found images
Thursday 18 July:
Painting: in this session, you will decorate cutout creatures in gouache, watercolour and acrylic paint
Friday 19 July
Drawing: in this session, you will make a set of collector cards with charcoal, ink and stitching
These drop-in sessions are from 10am-12pm; no bookings are required, and they are FREE!
