Join Em Blamey, Creative Producer of YAM’s current exhibition, Sea Monsters, on tour from the Australian National Maritime Museum, as she shares exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into its creation.
Em will discuss how the exhibition was created, the experts and artists involved, where you might find fantastic fossils and how you re-assemble a 15-metre-long plesiosaur!
Em Blamey is a Creative Producer at the Australian National Maritime Museum and has joint honours in zoology and psychology, plus post-graduate qualifications in science communication. She has also worked at the Australian Museum and Questacon – The National Science & Technology Centre, developing exhibitions on a wide range of topics. This event will inspire youth and adults.
